Modern Laboratory - guarantee of the quality of products created by AGAPLAST
Research and development
- we have our own modern research and development laboratory;
- we employ qualified staff of technologists and lab technicians;
- we regularly cooperate with external research and certification units, our partners include, among others Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Warmia and Mazury and the Industrial Chemistry Research Institute Prof. I. Mościcki in Warsaw
Our R&D activities include:
- development of new products, including innovative ones (we have patented inventions and reserved industrial designs);
- modification of existing products for individual customer needs;
- optimization of recipes and production technologies;
- testing and validation of new raw materials;
- adapting products to changing regulations;
- selecting the colors of products in accordance with a specific RAL / Pantone code or a physical pattern;
- development and modification of products in terms of their attestation and certification.
The ongoing control includes the following tests:
- physico-chemical properties of raw materials for their approval for production;
- the resistivity of the plasticizers used;
- granulate density;
- hardness of granules by the Shore method;
- thermal stability of granules;
- the colors of the granules;
- oxygen index of flame retardant granules;
- volumetric resistivity of insulating granulated;
- mechanical properties of granules;
- extrudability of granules;
- surface quality of the extruded granulate;
- Charpy impact strength of hard granules;
- the mass and volumetric flow rate of the granules.
In the area of garden and technical hoses, we use dedicated and patented control and measurement equipment for testing the bursting and working pressure of our products. As a producer of hoses approved for contact with food, we cooperate with external research units in order to guarantee the safety of our products.
We are dynamically developing, focusing on:
Innovative solutions used in the production process
Collaboration with research units on new technologies
Human capital
